This event is jointly organised by:

  • Austrian Society for Music and Medicine (ÖGfMM) The ÖGfMM promotes research, education, and networking in music, medicine, physiology, and psychology. Its primary focus is supporting musicians and performing artists in dealing with physical and psychological challenges – from prevention to diagnosis and therapy.
  • World Doctors Orchestra (WDO) The WDO combines musical excellence with medical commitment. Physicians from around the world perform benefit concerts in support of global medical aid projects.
  • Medical University of Vienna Austria’s largest medical teaching and research institution with an international reputation, and host of this symposium.

Venue

Josephinum – Historic Auditorium
A unique venue built in 1785, featuring restored wall paintings and state-of-the-art event technology. Capacity: 130 seats.
